MORE OF EM AND JASON'S ENGAGEMENT...

These are some of my favorites from the session. We seriously had so much fun downtown. The weather was perfect and Jason and Emily couldn't have been more adorable together:)

Also, just a little reminder: NOW'S THE TIME TO BOOK FAMILY PICTURES FOR CHRISTMAS CARDS. I will be taking a limited amount of shoots this fall. My last day of shooting for the year will be November 1st. Book now BEFORE the rush and while the weather is great!

THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED THIS WEEKEND!!!

Can't wait to shoot at this couple's wedding this weekend:) I have all these fun ideas for their day, it's like waiting for Christmas!

I know I've already posted this image on my blog, BUT I absolutely love it and I wanted to show off the awesome car edit that my friends at Nichols Photo Lab did for me. There is only so much I can do in photoshop. Every once in a while I find that there are things I just can't fix in a photo and have it look, well... like I didn't fix it :) So, I outsource the crazy stuff for insurance that my clients photos will look superb!

If you go to my old blog... www.jessicawhitephotography.blogspot.com, you'll see the original picture there. This couple wanted sooo badly to have a classic car in their engagement photos. They couldn't track one down last minute, so we decided to forego it. BUT, just as we were wrapping up our session, in comes this awesome classic truck, blue flames and all right down our alley way. We jumped on the opportunity that seemed to fall right out of the sky! Because we couldn't choose the location of where the driver parked his car, (btw, we did ask him if we could use it), we were left with a modern sedan in the background of this shot. Blah. But, it wasn't too much for Nichols to make that four-door disappear! Thanks!

Engagement Session Downtown Salt Lake City

We were so lucky to have a beautiful, sunny and "warm" day to shoot their engagements. The snow hit hard the next day :) They wanted to have a 50's vintage feel to their pictures, so we shot around some of the old buildings downtown and pulled out the antique suitcases. They had tried really hard to find a vintage car for their shoot, but nothing came available. But just as we were close to ending our shoot, in comes an old classic car down the alley way we were shooting in! The man was just there to unload some food products for a restaurant. We hurried over to ask if we could shoot some pictures by the car. It was just TOO perfect! What a lucky couple! Come back soon to see her bridals in April... we have an awesome location picked out for her "vintage" style!
